St Margaret’s at Cliffe, Kent
Working on behalf of a private client, we are delivering extensive internal and external refurbishment works to this stunning, 3-storey (plus cellar), turn of the 20th century, detached residential property overlooking the sea at St Margaret’s Bay in Kent.
Undertaken by our in-house teams and approved supply chain, works comprise of new electrical and mechanical installations, new bathrooms, damp proofing, full decorations throughout including upgrades to the cellar as well as landscaping to the outside areas.
Park Farm Joinery our internal joinery department will be fabricating the new staircase. Whilst on site we will be co-ordinating our construction activity alongside another contractor carrying out works to the orangery.
The project is due to be completed mid-2024.
Beaver Road, Ashford
Appointed by long-standing client of Jenner (Contractors) Limited and the first contract for in-house department Park Farm Construction, we are on-site undertaking extensive reconfiguration and refurbishment works to provide short-stay accommodation for Ashford Borough Council.
The two-storey Victorian, semi-detached property is being completely remodelled to form two self-contained apartments, each featuring a bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchen. New electrical and mechanical installations and water services will be completed, along with new windows and doors, full re-decorations and kitchens and bathrooms and to conclude, landscaping works externally.
Works are being carried out by our in-house teams as well as our approved supply chain. Our joinery department; Park Farm Joinery have fabricated the new staircase for the building.
We are due to complete this scheme in the spring of 2024.
Hawkinge Cemetery, Folkestone
Working on behalf of our local authority provider, Folkestone and Hythe District Council, we are on-site at Hawkinge Cemetery undertaking the construction of a new steel-frame machinery store, adjacent to an existing building. Works are being delivered by our in-house teams and approved supply chain and will be undertaken sensitively and respectfully around funerals taking place and members of the public visiting memorial areas. The project is set to complete at the end of 2023.
Temple Road, Canterbury
On behalf of a private client and in collaboration with architect Patrick McConkey, we are delivering major internal alterations to a property to provide assisted living modifications, delivered to full DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliance. Works include adaptations to several areas of the home, including a new wet room and re-decoration and flooring. Externally we are creating a new courtyard. Delivered by our in-house teams and approved supply chain we are set to complete works at the end of 2023.
Chapmans Close, Challock
A further project on behalf of Ashford Borough Council, sees the design and construction of a two-storey, detached, high-dependency dwelling. This fully compliant DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) home will comprise a lift, three-bedrooms, dining and living areas, a first-floor bathroom and a wet room to the ground floor. Externally we will be creating additional car parking spaces and incorporating roof mounted PV panels.
Located at the end of a residential close, alongside a row of terraced properties, our teams will commence works with the demolition of the existing garages. Overseen by our in-house teams and supported by our approved supply chain, we are set to handover the completed home in autumn 2024.
Westgate House, Canterbury
We are pleased to work alongside our internal departments; Park Farm Glazing and Park Farm Joinery to upgrade the windows and doors of this heritage building, serving as office accommodation in the city centre. Accompanying re-decorations will also be carried out. We have a month-long programme to complete the scheme, all the while ensuring that the staff working at the premises can continue their day-to-day activities, unhindered as far as possible by the construction work in progress.
